Be part of the creative team during the performance! All music and lyrics are completely improvised on the spot (with your help) based on an audience suggestion of a title of a musical that has never been done. The company will ask for prompts throughout the show, so it truly is a unique experience. You will never see the same show twice!
Audience participation is strongly encouraged. Recommended for ages 15+.
About the Creators
Ali Reed, Kiki Mikkelsen, and Adrien Pellerin are veterans of the New York City improv scene who are working on bringing improvised musical theatre to the Broadway stage. They have more than 30 years of combined experience studying and performing improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade, the Magnet Theater, and the People's Improv Theater. They have performed improvised musicals all over the world, including the NYC run of Blank! The Musical, at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Adelaide Fringe Festival, and beyond. Their work has been featured by Comedy Central, Adult Swim, College Humor, and Funny Or Die. They’ve performed Off-Broadway, at regional theaters, and in UCB’s Maude Night. Together, they can be seen performing with Baby Wants Candy and Premiere: The Improvised Musical, and of course, Shitzprobe.
About New Musicals Lab at the Ferguson Center
The New Musicals Lab at the Ferguson Center is designed to elevate emerging artists and their development of new musicals in a supportive and artistic haven outside of New York, serving as an incubator for experienced writers to develop new projects with talent and resources provided.
