Jessica Vosk, the celebrated singer and actress known for her work on Broadway and beyond, brings her spectacular talents to the stage for a dazzling evening of music and stories. An Evening With Jessica Vosk features an eclectic mix of songs from musical theater visionaries, singer-songwriters whose works stand the test of time, pop stunners like you’ve never heard them before, and much more. Best known for her star-turn as Elphaba in Wicked, both on tour and on Broadway, Vosk sold out her Carnegie Hall debut in 2021 and has since delighted audiences with her singular mix of talent, sincerity, humor, and “her powerhouse and pristine vocals” (Playbill).
Mary-Mitchell Campbell (Pianist/Music Director) is a conductor, music director, orchestrator, composer, and arranger. She was most recently appointed Music Director of City Center Encores! and named an Imagination Artist and conductor for the Colorado Symphony. Her Broadway music director credits include The Prom, Mean Girls, My Love Letter to Broadway and For the Girls with Kristin Chenoweth, Tuck Everlasting, Finding Neverland, Big Fish, The Addams Family, Company (Drama Desk Award), Sweeney Todd, as well as music supervisor for Some Like It Hot. She has guest conducted the symphony orchestras of Chicago, Cincinnati, Dallas, and Nashville, among others. Her television credits include Homeschool Musical (HBO) and Girls5eva (Peacock). Ms. Campbell is the founder and executive director of Artists Striving To End Poverty (ASTEP), which uses the arts to work with children in under-resourced communities. She is also a founding member of Musicians United for Social Equity (MUSE). A native of North Carolina, Ms. Campbell has taught as a member of the faculties of The Juilliard School, New York University, and Boston College.
Sean McDaniel (Percussionist) is currently the drummer for Some Like It Hot on Broadway. He also played Frozen, The Book of Mormon, Spamalot, Violet, La Cage Aux Folles, and Nine to Five on Broadway. Off-Broadway he originated Hamilton. Sean can be seen and heard in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Tick Tick Boom! He has played all over the country with American Idol Runner-Up Clay Aiken. Other performances include Aaron Tveit, Audra McDonald, Jennifer Hudson, Sting, Dolly Parton, Stephanie Block, Idina Menzel, Tituss Burgess, Jane Lynch, Fosse/Verdon, Vivo, Annie Live, South Park, Better Nate Than Ever, City Center Encores, Broadway at the White House, and the Tony Awards. Sean earned his BM at University of North Texas and his MFA at New York University. He is brand endorsed by DW, Evans, Vic Firth, and Sabian.
Marissa Rosen (Vocalist) can currently be seen touring the country with the amazing Jessica Vosk & Kristin Chenoweth. Recently seen in the world premiere production of Water for Elephants at the Alliance Theater in Atlanta. Broadway: For the Girls w/ Kristin Chenoweth. Off-Broadway: R.R.R.E.D., The Marvelous Wonderettes, My Big Gay Italian Wedding, BedBugs the Musical, Tony & Tina’s Wedding. Favorite regional/International/Tours: A Taste of Things to Come, Jawbreaker, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Bare, Into the Woods, and Grease. TV: Modern Love, Law & Order SVU, Doom Patrol. She works as a recording artist and backup singer for some of New York City and Nashville‘s finest, including Kristin Chenoweth, Jessica Vosk, Shoshana Bean, Patti LuPone, Betty Buckley, Ariana DeBose, Krysta Rodriguez, Jason Gotay, Marty Thomas & Lillias White to name a few.
