Sixteen years ago, Jenny married the charming Zoltan on a hillside in Romania. There was just one problem—he neglected to mention he was a vampire. After discovering she is pregnant, Jenny escapes to suburban California to build a new life. But when her immortal ex-husband returns to reclaim their half-vampire daughter, an ordinary family drama erupts into an extraordinary battle for the future, complete with romance, supernatural mayhem, and an impending vampire apocalypse.
