Join us for “New Voices,” a series of virtual concerts featuring music by incredibly exciting, up-and-coming artists and composers, all curated by Broadway composer Drew Gasparini.
Guest artist Noel Carey is a New York based actor, writer, musician and illustrator. He has been making songs and videos with Julia since freshman year at Emerson College. He is a proud member of the BMI Musical Theatre Workshop (Harrington Award), having composed music for Seven Minutes in Heaven, The Showmen, and others. He is also a member of New York's sketch comedy group Dinner For One, most recently serving as Music Supervisor for their award-winning show Life Sucks (iTVFest). His music has been featured regularly at Barrington Stage Company and 54 Below, where he appeared as Randy Newman alongside Julia's Ruby Manger. He was last seen onstage tickling the ivories as Marcus in the National Tour of Murder For Two. Noel is grateful to Brooklyn Sound for fulfilling his dream of being an old man.
Drew Gasparini is a thrilling musician equally committed to forging a new sound in the intersection between theatre and pop, to nurturing the next generation of artists, and to throwing one hell of a party. He is an award-winning musical theatre composer and lyricist, a singer/songwriter, a comedian and a teacher. His unique brand of musical theatre concerts have been performed to sold-out houses around the world, including The Kennedy Center and Lincoln Center.
