Watch as Soundscapes’ advancing young musicians sit beside their professional counterparts, experiencing the joy of discovery, mentorship, and music-making that transports audiences across borders and into the heart of the orchestra.The Peninsula Youth Orchestra (PYO) is a Soundscapes program that offers advanced student musicians opportunities to perform significant orchestral repertoire while building discipline, teamwork, and artistic excellence. PYO is open to music students across the community and operates on a sliding-scale tuition model to ensure access for all.The Virginia Symphony Orchestra (VSO) is recognized as one of the nation’s premier regional orchestras, inspiring and enriching lives through the transformative power of music.
